DXNY welcomes dancers 18 months and up with programs for Recreation, Pre-Comp, and Competition team pathways.

Where are you located and who do you serve?
We’re in the Hauppauge / Commack area of Suffolk County, Long Island, serving nearby towns like Smithtown, Nesconset, Kings Park, and East Northport.

What styles do you offer?
Ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, lyrical, contemporary and more—beginner to advanced.

What’s the difference between Recreation, Pre-Comp, and Competition?
Recreation = joy, fundamentals, and friends. Pre-Comp = skills, structure, first stage experiences. Competition = advanced training, teamwork, and frequent performances.

Can my child try a class first?
Yes, try a class first. Call our front desk or use the Discover DXNY inquiry to reserve your spot.

Do you accept walk-ins for guest teachers / summer?
Yes, walk-ins are welcome when capacity allows. See each week’s page for times and pricing.

Do you offer college student discounts?
Select masterclasses are 50% off with college ID—watch event pages for eligibility.

How does tuition work?
Transparent monthly tuition during the school year; packs and Unlimited options for intensives. AutoPay available for stress-free billing.

What should dancers wear?
Comfortable, fitted dancewear (style-specific), hair secured; clean sneakers for hip hop, tap shoes for tap. Check your class confirmation for details.

How do I enroll?
Browse classes by age/style, register online, or call our desk—we’re happy to help you place your dancer.

Is parking available?
Yes, there’s plenty of convenient on-site parking, and we’re easy to reach from 495.

Yes! Every classroom is livestreamed to our Parent Viewing Lounge, so you can comfortably watch without disrupting class focus
